Sawdust is operated by Creative Constructs LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Sawdust.

1. Who can use Sawdust

You must be at least 13. If you are under 18, you may only use Sawdust with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Sawdust is currently a closed beta available by invitation, and we may withdraw or change access during the beta.

2. Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@joinsawdust.com if you believe someone else has access to it. One person, one account — do not impersonate anyone.

3. Your content stays yours

You keep ownership of the photos, projects, updates, item lists and comments you create. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, adapt and display that content for the purpose of operating Sawdust — for example, generating a redesign from your photo, showing your project to people you published it to, and producing thumbnails.

That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups during their expiry window and the anonymised records described inDelete your account. We do not licence your content to anyone else and we do not use it in advertising.

4. What you may not post

Do not post content that:

• is unlawful, or infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy;
• is sexual content, graphic violence, or promotes self-harm;
• harasses, threatens, or targets a person or group with hatred;
• shows another person's home or possessions without their agreement;
• is spam, bulk promotion, or exists mainly to drive traffic elsewhere;
• misstates what something cost or where it came from, in a way designed to mislead.

Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or to evade a block or a suspension.

5. Moderation, suspension and removal

Uploaded images and submitted text are checked automatically before they are shown, and content can also be reported by other people and reviewed by a person. We may remove content, limit what an account can do, or suspend an account that breaks section 4.

We will tell you when we act on your content and why. If you think we got it wrong, reply to that notice or email support@joinsawdust.com and a person will look again. A suspended account can still sign in, read, and request its data.

6. The AI features, and their limits

Sawdust generates a redesigned image from your photo and suggests products that resemble what is in it. These are starting points, not professional advice. A generated image is not an architectural, structural or safety plan, and nothing in Sawdust should be relied on for work that needs a licensed professional or a permit.

Product suggestions are approximations. You always see several candidates rather than one confident answer, and every item can be added by hand with no AI involved.

7. Products, prices and links

We do not sell the products shown in Sawdust and are not party to your purchase. Prices and availability come from third parties, are cached, and can be out of date or wrong — check on the merchant's own site before buying.

Some outbound product links may earn us a commission. Where that is the case it is disclosed next to the link itself, not only here.

8. Beta service, provided as is

Sawdust is a beta. It will have defects, features will change, and content can be lost. To the extent the law allows, Sawdust is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Creative Constructs LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, for lost profits, or for the cost of work you carried out in reliance on something Sawdust showed you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Ending it

You can stop using Sawdust and delete your account at any time — seeDelete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we discontinue the beta, and we will give notice where we reasonably can.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially we will say so in the app rather than quietly editing this page, and the date at the top will change.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida.
